Yesterday morning I looked out at my balcony view, as I will now call it, and saw that we were just about to be eaten by a big cloud!

The day was gloomy and full of the things I didn’t really want to be doing. Do you have days like that? I had to go out and I didn’t want to. It was all okay but I wanted to have an afternoon of art. Painting and music. It didn’t happen.

Today started like this:

Absolutely beautiful! The sun came out, as though it knew I was about to take a photo, and illuminated the mountains.
My day was full of lovely things. I painted for a few hours in the afternoon and in the evening we have been doing a Harry Potter rewatch, second film tonight. It seems to be becoming a tradition. Every autumn, my “kids” like to re-live their childhoods and Harry Potter, which, of course, was the big thing for them when they were growing up. My son doesn’t join in. I hasten to add, before he reminds me. He’s not a big fan these days!

Altogether a lovely day. I made a tofu casserole for lunch which will be included in my next YouTube video and I go off to bed now feeling contented and fulfilled!
