Freezing Cold But It’sSanremo, Again!

It’s freezing cold here at the moment with a real feel of -7 degrees. We had a cosy and comforting hot lentil and grain soup with seedy bread for dinner. Not only that but it’s also that time of year again! Sanremo!

Even here in our rustic lives, Sanremo reaches us. We don’t normally watch as each show goes on a long time and never to schedule but this year we are taking part in FantaSanremo. This simply put, means that I had to pick five artists and depending on the voting and on certain things they do on stage, high five, political comment etc. you can gain or lose points.

At the end the one with the most points wins. You can organise yourselves into teams and have a league! It adds a bit of fun. We do a similar thing for the Eurovision song contest too!

We picked our artists without hearing their songs as that’s the way the game works. We’ll se how it goes.

I’m enjoying the shows more than I expected to. It gives a good feeling, a kind of cosiness if you can understand it. There are all ages in the audience all just enjoying the nights together. Songs seem to be either very dramatic, emotional and lots of Italian style rap.

I have been very pleasantly surprised by how much I’m likeing it!
