A Week Of Snuggly Cosiness!

When you feel so cold, so very cold, nothing lights your day! You can’t imagine what it’s like to be warm or what it’s like to feel the sun in summer. It really is a low, low feeling.

We have had our wood delivered and I have to confess that I decided to embark on a woodburning blaze fest. It was only supposed to last for two days, the weekend but, I did continue for a week of snuggly cosiness. I’ve been able to get back into my art studio again, and my bedroom which had sunk to a temperature of 6 degrees is now a cosy 13 and believe me it is lovely.

I have been spinning and knitting like a woman posessed and I’ve nearly finished a tank top in the gold, tan, cream spin that I finished last week.

I’ve got some more fibre on the wheel and will post photos soon.

The sun has been shining and I’m starting to turn my thoughts to the garden! I’ve started painting my ceiling. I’m in no rush and prefer to take an hour or two here and there rather than to rush and start panicking because I haven’t achieved some self imposed deadline. I do however have a month to try to finish my son’s room when he’s back for one of my daughter’s birthdays! No pressure there!

I will be painting up some old furniture which I’d hoped to replace before I lost my job so now it’s renovation. It should brighten up the space and I’m feeling quite excited about it all!
