I always love Fridays. It harks back to the days when I worked in a traditional job and had the weekend off. I work seven days a week now but a bit less at the weekend so it gives my week a bit of structure and some time feeling free. Friday is also, as I have mentioned previously, is pizza night and as always a lovely family night.

It started well with a breakfast of an apple turnover and cappuccino at a bar in the nearest town before coming home again to start the day.

As I’m feeling particularly tired this evening I’m just going to do a quick run down of today’s events. My daughter tested negative for Covid but is feeling quite ill. She will do another test tomorrow as we’ve heard that some people have been testing negative, then when they were feeling better testing positive so we’ll see what happens. The infection rates seem to be climbing at the moment.

I managed to get some hand spinning done this afternoon as well as some music practice. We’re trying out carols ready for Christmas and I think that they went quite well considering it was the first time playing them.

The missing parcels I mentioned yesterday were finally located and delivered late to the bar. We can go and get them tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, the weather has been beautiful. Sunny with a warm breeze. I’m feeling like spending a day in my garden. I actually would like to relax but I’ll get to that after I’ve weeded and tidied it up. We had some rain recently and now this beautiful sunny weather so everything’s gone mad.

The veg. patch needs sorting out and putting in order ready for the winter but there may not be time to do everything. Whatever happens, I’ll let you know tomorrow!
