Pietrasanta Visit

I had a wonderful day out yesterday to the town of Pietrasanta!

A good friend took me out on a treat, a change of scene and a pick me up after losing my job!

The town has a very arty ambience and a lovely atmosphere, a place loved by artists and creators. There are what I call “different” shops. Unique places to buy something different for yourself or your home.

Pietrasanta

After a quick espresso on arrival, we walked for a few minutes, arriving in the main piazza lined with bars and restaurants which are normally vibrant in the summer.

We explored the little nooks, crannies and streets of Pietrasants which is full of art galleries and interesting places.

After we’d explored Pietrasanta we travelled 3 Km to Marina di Pietrasanta. The sun came out and it was like a happy spring day.

We had an aperitivo, which was our late lunch, snack to keep us going. Mine was a delicious fruit one tasting of strawberry and also with rasberries and bilberries.

Then a walk around the pier and up and down the promenade!

Our journey home was through the mountains accompanied by a beautiful sunset. I got home just in time for a lovely dinner hosted by my daughter.
