This 1927 vintage retro travel poster, image by Alfred Leete which encapsulates the glamour of travel in times gone by and shows commuters from the 20’s making their way to the London Underground station.
The illustration features buses, vans and other transport parked to let the passengers off to get to the London Metro station
The people in the cartoon picture consist of office workers, men, women, children, policemen and even dogs all going to catch the train, with some resisting!
The poster has been carefully digitally restored to remove any major signs or wear and tear and to refresh the colours but retaining its vintage character.
