This vintage theatre opera poster is for the Puccini Opera, Madam Butterfly. The poster encapsulates the glamour of life in times gone by and features a Japanese woman, wearing a kimono, kneeling and watching a bird in a tree covered in cherry blossom. The illustration was originally made by Leopoldo Metlicovitz in 1904.
